Street Angels Ministry (SAM) is rooted in the idea of showing love and grace to homeless youth. We do this by interacting with youth on the streets. These moments are possible when people just like you get involved and go out. Together, we can create opportunities where people are reminded that they are loved.
We encourage you to join us. Below are multiple ways you can participate with SAM.

1) Join us on one of our outings
Four times a month, we walk local neighborhoods, deliver bags full of survival supplies and strike up conversation with youth in need. We go out to Ocean Beach the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, as well as Downtown San Diego the 2nd and 4th Tuesday night of the month. 2) Donate supplies
We rely solely on donations from supporters like you. For more information about our supply needs, take a look at the Supplies we need page. We will be posting an “Item of the Month” for our most in need supply.

3) Donate the meal for an outing
We deliver warm meals on each of our outings for about 20-25 people. Like the supplies we hand out, the meals come to us by way of the generosity of our donor supporters. Preparing a meal for those living on the streets can be a rewarding experience for you, your family, your co-workers, or your organization. Let us know if you’d like to prepare a meal for us.

5) Other Opportunities
Passionate about Street Angels and are looking for more ways to get involved?
Street Angels has the continual need for resources and supporters! Spread the word by asking if your workplace, local grocery, dental office, etc. would like to make any kind of a contribution! Examples of help could be a monthly monetary contribution to help pay for our storage unit and additional supplies; donated travel size shampoos, soaps, body washes from hotels; donated toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss from dental offices; or donation drives at your workplace!
